Description
Korea International School, Jeju Campus is located on an island renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, high standard of living, and unique local culture.
At KISJ we believe in positive change through dialogue and design. Every day, we use mind-opening tools and teaching to serve emerging bilingual students, because unprecedented times call for unprecedented learners. As South Korea’s first public-private boarding school, we offer students in Northeast Asia expanded access to a challenging American curriculum (using AERO-based standards, English Language Learning, Understanding by Design® and Advanced Placement® courses) with an emphasis on character education. We are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the South Korean Ministry of Education.
With well-resourced classrooms and facilities, strong support for professional development, supportive teams, and an innovative boarding program, we ensure that our students grow academically while developing complex social-emotional and intercultural skills. Our learning community includes over 160 academic faculty and over 30 dedicated dorm staff serving over one thousand students in grades JK–12.
