EdEvents Event Listings Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

This policy explains which events EdEvents lists, how submissions are reviewed and when listing fees apply. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

What we list

EdEvents lists events relevant to educators, leaders and organisations within the international schools sector, including:

  • Professional development and training

  • Conferences, workshops and webinars

  • Networking and community events

  • School-hosted events

  • Association and professional network events

  • Events involving education and technology providers

Free event listings

Events that provide genuine professional learning, networking or community value may be listed free of charge.

These commonly include events organised by:

  • International schools

  • Educator associations and professional networks

  • Not-for-profit education organisations

  • Education-focused community groups

Events delivered by a commercial organisation may also qualify for a free listing when they are hosted by, or run in genuine partnership with, an international school.

Commercial involvement does not automatically make an event commercial. We consider the event’s overall purpose, format and value to educators—not simply who delivers it or where it is held.

A school-hosted event that is primarily intended to promote or sell a commercial product or service may still require a paid listing.

Listing options and fees

  • Eligible school, association and community events can receive a standard listing free of charge or a featured listing for USD 190.

  • For commercial events, a standard listing costs USD 190 and a featured listing costs USD 380.

Featured listings receive additional visibility across EdEvents, subject to availability and editorial approval.

Organisations running multiple events or seeking ongoing visibility may contact us to discuss partnership options.

How submissions are reviewed

All events are reviewed before publication. We consider:

  • Relevance to the international schools sector

  • The event’s purpose, format and educational value

  • Accuracy and completeness

  • The quality of the supplied copy and image

  • Whether the appropriate listing option has been selected

If we determine that a free submission requires a commercial listing, we will contact the submitter with the available options before publishing it.

We may make minor edits for clarity, consistency, length or formatting. We will not materially change the substance of an event without consulting the submitter.

Submission does not guarantee publication. We aim to review submissions within a few working days.

Images and submitted content

Listings should include a clear, good-quality event image, preferably in a 16:9 format.

By submitting an event, you confirm that you have the right or permission to use all supplied text, logos and images.

We may decline, remove or unpublish a listing if it:

  • Is unrelated to international schools or education

  • Contains inaccurate, misleading or unverifiable information

  • Misrepresents commercial promotion as independent community content

  • Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other third-party rights

  • Is otherwise unsuitable for the EdEvents community

  • Breaches our Terms of Service

Changes and cancellations

Submitters can update the status of their own listings at any time, including when an event is postponed or cancelled.

EdEvents may also update, remove or unpublish a listing when necessary to keep the directory accurate and useful.

Communication

We may use the contact details supplied with an event to:

  • Confirm receipt of the submission

  • Ask questions or request additional information

  • Communicate the outcome of our review

  • Provide paid listing options where relevant

Submitting an event does not automatically subscribe the submitter to general marketing communications.

Editorial discretion

EdEvents retains editorial discretion over which events are published, how they are categorised and whether they receive featured placement.
