University Guidance Counselor

The University Guidance office provides a comprehensive university guidance program for students in grades 9-12, guiding them through every step of the college application and admissions process. In alignment with Dwight's pillars of personalized learning, counselors work directly with students to create individual application and admissions plans to ensure that all Upper School students apply to schools that are a strong fit for them based on their academic profile, personal interests, and aspirations. Counselors also support the director’s higher education programming and assist in building relationships within the college admissions community. Counselors are expected to have a strong knowledge base of current opportunities and trends in the world of higher education and admissions.
