Bangkok Patana School seeks an enthusiastic, caring, and experienced Music teacher to teach across the secondary school age range as well as direct our orchestra and KS3 String Ensembles. Experience of successfully teaching (I)GCSE and IB curriculum or equivalent and implementing recent UK initiatives is highly desirable. The willingness to be an effective team player and work closely with parents is essential.

Work with us and inspire international students to fulfill their potential.

Mission:
Our mission is to ensure that students of different nationalities grow to their full potential as independent learners in a caring British International Community.

Vision: We develop global citizens who shape their world through independence, empathy, creativity, and critical thinking. We are keen to speak with exceptional teachers experienced across Secondary School, (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4) and ideally IB or A-Level, who are keen to continue their professional learning and development in Bangkok’s premier British international school. We are also interested to meet with young, Teach First graduates with more limited experience but high potential.

Role and Position in the Organisation:
The Music teacher has a vital role to play in the development of the students in their subject area. All Music teachers also work as a tutor or support tutor within a Year group. Music teachers work in a team alongside their Head of Faculty/Curriculum Leader. They plan and teach in accordance with the agreed schemes of work and assessment policies for the Faculty area.

As teaching professionals, they work to create a situation in which students become independent learners and achieve their full potential in a positive, caring and stimulating learning environment.

Bangkok Patana is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students and expects all staff to share the same commitment. Extensive checks (DBS if UK-based) and references will form part of the application process. We offer a competitive salary with a generous benefits package.
