Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is designed for individuals who operate in remote regions beyond the immediate reach of emergency medical services. This course offers participants an introduction to wilderness first aid, with a strong emphasis on prevention, practical skills, decision-making, and managing environmental conditions. The program also includes CPR/AED Heart Saver for the Lay Rescuer.

Course Duration: 21-hr program delivered over three-day period

Method of Delivery: Conducted in person and includes class time, practical activities, realistic simulations, and skills sessions.

Assessment/Evaluation: Participants will complete a multiple-choice exam at the end of the course. A passing grade of 70% is required to receive certification (awarded by Sirius Wilderness Medicine, valid for 3 years).
