We have 2 essential Safeguarding events designed to equip school leaders, educators, and child protection professionals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to create safe and supportive learning environments.

On Monday, 9th February, the Symposium will feature a full day of workshops focused on “Preparing Schools for the Risks Students Face Today”, led by experienced international professionals. This is a day of advanced level training ideal for school leaders, safeguarding teams, counsellors, and wellbeing teams who are leading or supporting safeguarding in their school or organisation.

On Tuesday, 10th February, the Khmer Language Safeguarding Training Day will offer a Level 1 Safeguarding Certificate, covering practical skills such as water safety, CPR, and how to respond to emergencies involving children. This training is designed for all Khmer speakers who work with children or wish to learn how to protect children in their communities.

Both events will take place at the Canadian International School of Phnom Penh, providing a platform for educators and safeguarding professionals to strengthen their practices and promote inclusive, culturally-responsive child protection strategies.
