The Impact of COVID Restrictions on Children with Special Educational Needs in the Early Years: Evidence from Educators’ Perspectives in Hong Kong
As an early career researcher and practitioner, I would like to share my findings of a Hong Kong-based published study with educators on the impact of COVID-19 on children with special educational needs and how the pandemic posed challenges for vulnerable learners and also some of the benefits for a minority of children with technology-based learning. The insights from the educators provide key areas of focus for CSEN in the early years to recover from the aftermath of the pandemic and for future unforeseen school closures.
This is one of the upcoming sessions for 21CL Online.
