How can mathematics move beyond the textbook and become a tool for meaningful global impact? This interactive workshop empowers educators to design project-based math experiences that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while remaining grounded in rigorous mathematical thinking.

Participants will examine student projects focused on real-world issues, from urban mobility to climate action, and unpack how to guide learners through the project-based learning (PBL) cycle using math as the lens for problem-solving, analysis, and advocacy. Whether you’re in MYP, IGCSE, AP, or a national curriculum, this session provides practical models, reflection tools, and scaffolds to support powerful, purpose-driven math learning.
