About the event

This one-day professional development certificate program is designed for educators, school leaders, and community practitioners seeking to understand and respond to global forced migration through the lens of SDG4: Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education for All.

Grounded in lived experiences and research, the program highlights the urgent need to ensure refugee and displaced children are not left behind. Education is not only a human right but also a pathway to safety, dignity, and opportunity.

Participants will gain practical strategies to:

  • Create welcoming, culturally responsive classrooms.

  • Support refugee learners and foster belonging.

  • Explore the broader role of schools in community integration and inclusive societies.
