Global Perspectives Local Impact - A Model for Great Learning
Every year our International Curriculum Conference is a key focal point for our global community of schools. Inspiring content includes not just thought leading keynote speakers but also a wide range of school-led workshops delivered by classroom teachers sharing their practice and experience. With the incredible spotlights on and showcasing of learners, the International Curriculum Conference offers a unique level of enrichment, connection and learning for all.
How does implementation of the International Curriculum create meaningful local impact through global perspectives?
The ICC24 Keynote sessions, School-led Workshops, and Networking activities will all center around this crucial question, exploring it through four main strands:
Community Engagement: Enabling learners to develop active global citizenship through community-based projects that address local needs and global challenges
EdTech and Global Learning: leveraging technology to facilitate global connections, interactive, immersive and accessible learning beyond the classroom
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice & Belonging (DEIJB): ensuring that all learners see themselves in the curriculum, promoting a culture of , and a supporting environment for, inclusivity and equity
Learner Agency and Action: empowering learners to take action, locally, globally and in their learning, fully fostering the Personal Learning Goals
11 November:
Keynote and full group workshops, networking and drinks reception
Hosted at The Everly Hotel, Putrajaya
Inspiring Keynote presentations from International Speakers, Learner Keynotes, ICA-led updates and a range of full group activities.
12 November:
Learning Walks and School-led Workshops
An opportunity to see the learning in action at two International Schools in Kuala Lumpur. Attend school-led workshops delving into their International Curriculum implementation.
13 November:
School-led and ICA led Workshops
Hosted by Nexus International School
Engaging keynote presentations and a diverse range of teacher-led workshops; providing insights into their practices and experiences. See, hear and experience the International Curriculum in action.
