NAVIGATING & RESPONDING EFFECTIVELY TO CONCERNING SEXUALISED BEHAVIOUR (CSB)

 

This workshop will provide skills and knowledge to strengthen your confidence in leadership, and equip you to respond effectively to incidents of CSB between students. Good processes minimise incidents from occurring, decrease further escalation and support all involved to be prepared. An interactive workshop that will cover the following topics:

• Prevention Education in the wider school context

• What are developmentally age expected sexualised behaviours

• When to be concerned and exploring the intent behind CSB

• Considering language, values and differing perspectives

• Crisis response guidelines and tools to engage all stakeholders

• Working with Parents/Caregivers - Home School Partnership

• Facilitating conversations with students and parents/caregivers

• Deescalating conflict and managing strong emotions

Lyn has more than 20 years experience working as a therapist, facilitator and specialist clinician with children and young people who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour and providing professional support to their families, schools and community.
