Top 3 “Need-to-Knows” to Make Truly Interdisciplinary Projects Truly Great

We’ve been designing interdisciplinary units, projects and field experiences for Grades 6-12 for 25 years. One thing is true: it’s difficult to get right, and there is more nuance than meets the eye. In this presentation we will share 3 main lenses we look through when determining whether a hot topic, grand challenge or wicked problem can effectively transform into a workable and stimulating interdisciplinary learning experience. We welcome everyone interested in these tips and will center our discussion around STE(A)M and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Upper School levels. You’ll also learn about the problems and phenomena we chose to pursue in our Integrated Science Program for Grades 8-12. Join us and get your questions answered!

This is one of the upcoming sessions for 21CL Online.
