This 2-hour in-person workshop for international school leaders and edtech professionals focuses on transitioning from a culture centered on digital literacy to one that prioritizes digital wellbeing. Building on Kigumi's past years of work as digital wellbeing and AI ethics consultants to schools across Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand, participants will explore practical strategies and frameworks to foster healthy digital habits, enhance student and staff wellbeing in tech-rich environments, and create balanced digital practices that support both learning and mental health.

The distinctions and overlaps between a technical skills-based digital literacy programme and a competencies and attitudes-based SEL digital wellbeing programme will be discussed in the context of each school's needs and resource constraints. Through collaborative discussions and hands-on activities, attendees will gain actionable insights to lead their schools towards a sustainable and mindful digital culture.
