We are seeking a passionate and qualified Chemistry and Biology teacher to join our dynamic team. 

Responsibilities: 

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the Common Core State Standards and AP curriculum guidelines in Chemistry and Biology. Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including hands-on activities, laboratory experiments, technology integration, and project-based learning, to cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity, collaboration, and a love for science. Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support students in reaching their full potential. Collaborate with other science teachers and departments to develop a cohesive and comprehensive STEM curriculum. Stay current with advancements in Chemistry and Biology and integrate them into the curriculum. Maintain accurate and organized records of student progress and grades. Attend departmental and school meetings and participate in professional development opportunities. 

Qualifications: 

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, preferred. 

• State teaching certification in Chemistry and Biology required. 

• Experience teaching AP Chemistry or AP Biology, a strong plus. 

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective lesson plans that align with the Common Core State Standards and AP curriculum guidelines. 

• Strong understanding of scientific inquiry and laboratory safety procedures. 

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. 

• Passion for science and a commitment to inspiring students.
