Introduction:

Our school offers a comprehensive curriculum that follows the Common Core standards, and we are currently seeking a Primary Art Teacher (Visual Arts) to join our team. A PYP background would be advantageous.

Position Overview:

As a Primary Art Teacher (Visual Arts), you will be responsible for teaching Fine Art to elementary/primary school students. You will work closely with other members of the Arts department to develop engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and promote creativity and self-expression among our students.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or related field. Teaching certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Fine Art at the primary level
- Strong knowledge of visual arts techniques, materials, and processes
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet Common Core standards. Background in PYP advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
